Limitless mountain biking experiences at Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm and in Gardena/Gröden

Since 2011, the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm and Gardena/Gröden resort offers a total of 1,000 kilometers of cycling trails and 33 official mountain bike tours. These figures speak for themselves. The mountain bike tours are varied and entertaining and suitable for all skill levels.

San Osvaldo/St. Oswald

This mountain bike tour starts in Castelrotto/Kastelruth. Continue to Schgagul. At Tiosler Weiher, cycle downhill to Tagusa/Tagusens and then to Tesimo/Tisens. Take the turn to San Osvaldo/St. Oswald and continue to Lafogl Farm and Telfen. Return to Castelrotto/Kastelruth via Siusi/Seis. This tour takes approx. 2.5 hours.

Sasso Lungo/Langkofel to Alpe di Tires/Tierser Alpl

This mountain bike tour around Sasso Lungo/Langkofel starts in Saltria. Ride towards Monte Pana, Comici hut and Sella peak hut. Continue on Friedrich August trail to Sasso Piatto/Plattkofel hut and then on a steep climb to Alpe di Tires/Tierser Alpl and Denti di Terrarossa/Rosszahn. A technically demanding descent leads back to Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm. This mountain bike tour takes approx. 5.5 hours.

Schafstall and Tagusa/Tagusens

From Castelrotto/Kastelruth, cycle towards San Valentino/St. Valentin. Turn in direction Schafstall, where you can take a break for some food and drink. A cycling trail, gravel road and no. 9 trail lead to San Michele/St. Michael. Continue in direction Schgagul and then up to Tagusa/Tagusens and Tiosler Weiher, where you start the return to Castelrotto/Kastelruth. This mountain bike tour takes approx. 2 hours.

Val d'Isarco/EIsacktal

This short cycling tour starts in Fiè allo Sciliar/Völs am Schlern. Cycle to Siusi/Seis and Novale di Fiè/Völser Ried on a gravel road. After 5 km you reach the cycling trail which traverses Val d'Isarco/EIsacktal from North to South. This tour is the ideal occasion for a stop in Bolzano/Bozen or Bressanone/Brixen. This tour takes approx. 45 minutes before reaching the cycling trail.

Aica di Fiè/Völser Aicha

This mountain bike tour starts in Fiè allo Sciliar/Völs am Schlern, From there, cycle direction Umes/Ums and take the turn to Monte Cavone/Tschafon, then continue towards Presule/Prösels and to the Castle. On the road to Aica di Fiè/Völser Aicha, turn into a forest trail which takes you to a panoramic viewpoint. From there, return to Fiè allo Sciliar/Völs am Schlern. This loop tour takes approx. 2.5 hours.
