Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm valley tour
The valley tour leads past the picturesque villages of Castelrotto/Kastelruth, Fiè allo Sciliar/Völs am Schlern and Siusi/Seis at Sciliar/Schlern. On quiet roads without much traffic you can really enjoy the superb scenery. The trails to San Vigilio/St. Vigil are particularly interesting. From Siusi/Seis, cycle back to Castelrotto/Kastelruth via dedicated trails and forest roads. The tour lasts approx. 2.5 hours.
Aica di Fiè/Völser Aicha
This mountain bike tour starts in Fiè allo Sciliar/Völs am Schlern, From there, cycle direction Umes/Ums and take the turn to Monte Cavone/Tschafon, then continue towards Presule/Prösels and to the Castle. On the road to Aica di Fiè/Völser Aicha, turn into a forest trail which takes you to a panoramic viewpoint. From there, return to Fiè allo Sciliar/Völs am Schlern. This loop tour takes approx. 2.5 hours.
From Castelrotto/Kastelruth, cycle in direction Passo Pinei/Panider Sattel. On a small, secondary road, continue to Bulla/Pufels and then on a steep climb to Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm. On the road to Compaccio/Compatsch you will see a gravel road. Follow this road and enjoy the views of Denti di Terrarossa/Rosszahn and Sciliar/Schlern. You will reach the beautifully located Laurin hut. A technically demanding descent leads from Spitzbühel down to Bad Ratzes and Castelrotto/Kastelruth. This tour takes approx. 3 hours.
Coming from Siusi/Seis at Sciliar/Schlern, cycle to Weiler Tiosels and continue on a tarmac road to San Valentino/St. Valentin. From there, make your way to Bad Ratzes and Castelvecchio/Hauenstein forest. On foot, you can reach the Castelvecchio/Hauenstein Castle ruins. Back in the saddle, return to Siusi/Seis at Sciliar/Schlern on a soft, flowing trail. This tour takes approx. 2 hours.
Sciliar/Schlern and Croda del Maglio/Hammerwand
This challenging tour starts in Fiè allo Sciliar/Völs am Schlern. Cycle to Laghetto di Fiè/Völser Weiher and from there to Tuff Alpine hut. A steep, demanding climb leads to Sciliar/Schlern Alpine hut and continues on to Hofer Alpl hut, a cozy, traditional place. Cycle to Umes/Ums and return to Val Tires/Tierser Tal and to Fiè/Völs. This tour takes approx. 3 hours.
