Friedrich August trail
This beautiful trail leads from Sella peak to Sasso Piatto/Plattkofel hut. It starts at Williams Alpine hut, which can be reached by cable car, and leads to Sasso Lungo/Langkofel hut and then to Tom Demetz hut. From there, hike down to Sella peak and continue to Sasso Piatto/Plattkofel hut, before returning to the departure point. This medium-difficulty tour takes approx. 5 hours.
Sasso Piatto/Plattkofel hut
The mountain tour to Sasso Piatto/Plattkofel starts at Williams hut. Hike past Zallinger inn to Sasso Piatto/Plattkofel hut and to the foot of Sasso Piatto/Plattkofel mountain peak. This steep, yet not too challenging trail leads to the central peak of this imposing mountain range. Descend on the same path. This mountain tour takes approx. 5.5 hours.
Laurenzi climbing trail
The Laurenzi climbing trail leads to the central Molignon peak and requires both stamina and mountaineering experience. Start at the valley station of Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm cable car and hike to Denti di Terrarossa/Rosszahn peak and along Alpe di Tires/Tierser Alpl hut to the starting point of the long climbing trail. Return to the departure point via the Eastern wing. The total duration of this tour is approx. 9.5 hours.
Hike to Monte Cavone/Tschafon
The hike to Monte Cavone/Tschafon starts directly at the campsite. The return path leads via Tuff Alpine hut to Hofer Alpl and then down to Monte Cavone/Tschafon refuge. Continue on no. 4 trail direction Tires/Tiers, where a hiking bus will take you back to Fiè/Völs. This panoramic hike takes approx. 5 hours and also serves as a popular mountain bike trail.
Hike to Murmeltier hut
This hike to the Alpine hut starts in Saltria (reachable by bus). First continue direction Monte Pana and then to the Sasso Piatto/Plattkofel wall base. The Murmeltier hut is a cozy place which is ideal for a relaxed stop. Return via Zallinger mountain refuge. This particularly family-friendly hike takes approx. 3 hours.
